Marcia Zina Mager is the author of 10 books, fiction and non-fiction, including an international best-seller, which have been translated into 8 languages. As a journalist for more than a decade, she’s published dozens of articles and essays locally and nationally. She is also the founder of the original Write from the Heart, a national seminar series on creativity that has been taught all across North America.
Marcia moved to Hawaii from New York City in 1992 and became an award-winning poet and mixed-media artist. In Honolulu she studied improvisation with Academy award-winning actor, Alan Arkin, which broadened her writing to include performance. Currently she is performing her hit 2-woman musical, MONEY TALKS: But What the Hell is it Saying? (imagine Ted Talk meets Broadway musical) with her talented collaborator, international singer/songwriter Lucie Lynch. She also serves as the Vice President of the National League of American Pen Women, Honolulu Chapter.
