My mission.

Marcia Zina Mager is the author of 12 books, fiction and non-fiction, including an international best-seller, which have been translated into 8 languages. As a journalist with decades of experience, she’s published dozens of articles and essays locally and nationally. She is also the founder of the original Write from the Heart, a national seminar series on creativity that has been taught all across North America.

​Marcia moved to Hawaii from New York City in 1992 and became an award-winning poet and mixed-media artist. In Honolulu she studied improvisation with the legendary Academy award-winning actor, Alan Arkin, which broadened her writing career to include performance. She's appeared on stage and television, including a guest starring role in the international hit TV series, HAWAII FIVE-O. Currently Marcia is performing her award-winning 2-woman musical, MONEY TALKS: But What the Hell is it Saying? with her talented collaborator, international singer/songwriter Lucie Lynch.
​She also serves as the Co-President of the National League of American Pen Women, Honolulu Chapter.
